Preventative Maintenance

A pre-scheduled visit is recommended to tune up your Thermo, Goring Kerr, Safeline, or Fortress Technology Industrial Metal Detector, this should be based upon how your equipment is used.

Your Preventative Maintenance inspection would include the following:
• Calibrate the coil,reference, and input voltages to Manufacturers Specifications.
• Calibrate proper Phasing of the unit to the product and/or to ferrite
• Verify proper programming on digital systems.
• Assure proper installation.
• Report system sensitivity and capabilities.
• Provide each inspected unit with a calibration sticker and a full service report.
